Cavoo

Know who said what in every recording

A group conversation is hard to follow as one block of text. Cavoo separates the voices and labels each speaker, so the transcript reads like a clear conversation.

How speaker identification works

  1. Record the conversation

Record live or import audio with two or more people talking.

  2. Voices are separated

Cavoo detects when the speaker changes and labels each part of the transcript.

  3. Read it like a conversation

Every line shows its speaker, so quotes and decisions are easy to trace.

Tips for accurate speaker labels

  • One person at a time

Overlapping voices are harder to separate.

  • Keep a similar distance

Place the phone where everyone’s voice reaches it equally.

  • Record in a quiet room

Less background noise means cleaner speaker changes.

Questions and answers

What is speaker identification?

Cavoo recognizes the different voices in a recording and marks which parts of the transcript each person said.

Does it work for live recordings and imported files?

Yes. Speakers are labeled in both live transcription and file transcription, on every plan.

When is it most useful?

Meetings, interviews, client meetings and classes with discussion — any recording with more than one person.

Does background noise affect it?

Clearer audio gives better results. Record in a quiet place and keep the phone close to the speakers.
